LIP Webinar Series

Sharing Knowledge Between Community Organisations to Amplify Institutional Support for Newcomers.

Greater Moncton Local Immigration Partnership (GMLIP) Webinar Series

The Greater Moncton Local Immigration Partnership webinar series is an initiative of the 2019-2024 Greater Moncton Immigration Strategy. Objective #4 of the strategy aims to significantly broaden both public awareness and engagement”. One of the actions set to achieve objective #4 is to increase institutional support, provide them with education on where to refer newcomers for services. The way in which this specific initiative achieves the action of increasing institutional support is by launching this webinar series called Sharing Knowledge Between Community Organisations to Amplify Institutional Support for Newcomers.

Since the goal of the Local Immigration Partnership is to support the organisations that support newcomers, invitees to these live webinars are limited to Greater Moncton institutions, i.e., places of worship, social organizations, community groups, sports associations, etc. Newcomers are not directly the audience of the webinars unless they are an employee or volunteer of a local organisation.

Recognizing that the information shared in these webinars are useful to anyone involved in supporting newcomers in the Greater Moncton area, access to the recordings of the webinars is being provided on this page. This provides further opportunities to amplify institutional support within our community.

Thank you to our presenters, and all representatives of local community organisations who access these videos to inform yourself of the various vital resources available within our community.

If you are an employee or volunteer of a local organisation and would like to be invited to the ongoing live webinars, contact us here, and you will be added to the mailing list.
